ONE WEEK FOR THE BROADWAY

In the past Broadway Theatre has engaged in a wide variety of
FUNDRAISERS – but this year we are going to bring you a
WEEK of fundraising – at the Broadway.

Nov 20 – Bollywood Film – RA. One with Live Dance
Nov 22 – AGM (buy memberships and make donations)
Nov 23 – Saskatoon Fiddle Orchestra/Eclipse Chorus
Nov 25 – Saskatoon Soaps
Nov 25 – Midnight Film – House by the Cemetery
Nov 26 – Songwriters’ Circle concert
featuring Carrie Catherine & Jeff Straker

The best part is – while you enjoy the shows,
all dollars you spend come directly to the Broadway.

IN ADDITION: PotashCorp has generously offered to
support the Broadway cause by matching all ticket dollars,
donations, memberships sold we bring in this week – up to
$20,000. So if you or anyone you know would enjoy any of
these great offerings, we'll see you at the Broadway Nov 20-26!

NEWSFLASH: Broadway Theatre Box Office Leaping Back to the Future!

Yes, our box office will actually join the digital age – thanks to great support and
partnership from Beagle Productions (a Broadway neighbour).

We will still have almost 60 in-person box office hours
weekly, and buy-by-phone. However, for most of our
live shows in the future, you will be able to purchase
tickets online through this website. If promoters choose
to use outside ticketing (Ticketmaster, Ticket Pro, etc)
you will have to visit those websites to purchase.

This technological wonderment means (gasp) an increase
to our service charge. This was $1 for the entire Millennia,
but will now become a $2 Broadway Heritage Fee. We
know you’ll agree that this is still very low as service charges go,
and you can feel warm knowing it is going to your Broadway Theatre
– not outside Saskatchewan or Canada.

All hail technology! All hail community-owned Theatres!

Due to its prime location, unique history and its commitment to cultural entertainment, the Broadway Theatre has the potential to promote the many facets of Saskatchewan's multi-cultural community. The Theatre provides diverse programming for people of all ages, ethnic backgrounds, and special needs, and promotes the use of the Theatre by many cultural and social organizations for special screenings, ethnic film festivals, and special events (i.e. concerts). As such, the Theatre is at once a community cultural centre and a window on the world.
